Many homeowners think of Scottsdale as a premium market where the address does all the work. In reality, buyers here compare condition, design, lot placement, and community reputation very closely. A rough citywide middle can land in the upper hundreds, but that number means little without neighborhood context.
Well-presented homes can do well in Scottsdale. Homes with dated finishes, deferred maintenance, or awkward layouts may still sit because buyers expect more for the price.
